A Message From Chief Kyle Murphy


Welcome to the Andover Fire Rescue website.

I am proud to lead a dedicated team of 78 uniformed and 2 non-uniformed personnel who work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. Each year, we respond to over 8,300 emergencies and requests for service from our three fire stations, which serve the 32 square miles within the boundaries of Andover.

Our commitment to excellence drives us to face every challenge with professionalism and care. As a true all-hazards organization, Andover Fire Rescue not only provides exceptional fire suppression services but also boasts a robust special services capability. We respond to medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials incidents, and technical rescue situations, in addition to maintaining a comprehensive fire prevention and code enforcement program.
