The Town and the Town’s Consultants will be performing Fire Flow/Capacity Testing at 456 Lowell Street, and also on the water system in conjunction with the Senior Center and the Historic Mill District projects on Thursday, November 8, 2018. Testing will commence at 7:30. Water may be discolored in the areas noted below. These areas could experience low pressure while tests are being performed, and possible discoloration of the water during and after testing. Every effort will be made to try to minimize the impact to the distribution system and to the residents and businesses within the testing areas.
The Water Shop will be running hydrants to remove discoloration caused by these flow tests. Please redirect all calls to the Water Shop at 978-623-8860. Thank you for your patience during these tests.

- Testing will be conducted at the CENTER AT PUNCHARD (SENIOR CENTER), affecting BARTLET ST., and WHITTIER ST. AREAS.
- Testing will be conducted in the HISTORIC MILL DISTRICT, as follows:
(A) PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER, affecting NORTH MAIN STREET AREA;
(B) TOWN YARD, affecting LEWIS ST., BUXTON CT., PEARSON ST. AREAS;
(C) 17 RAILROAD STREET, affecting ESSEX ST. AREAS;
(D) 20 ESSEX ST., affecting RAILROAD ST., ESSEX ST., and BROOK ST. AREAS;
(E) 8 LUPINE ROAD, affecting LUPINE RD., SCHOOL ST. and RIDGE ST. AREAS; and
(F) 200 LOWELL STREET, affecting LOWELL ST., CUTLER RD., and WEST PARISH ROAD AREAS.
