The Department of Public Works is excited to begin the improvements of a section of water main on Greenwood Road between the High Plain Road and Gleason St
reet. Work is scheduled to begin the week of November 16th.
Update - On Thursday, December 10th, the Town's contractor will continue water main work on Greenwood Road. This will include a shutdown of Greenwood Road from #97-117 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The construction may cause some adjustments in driving patterns; there may be detours and delays. Emergency vehicles will not be prevented from responding to their calls.
Greenwood Road will be closed between High Plain Road and Gleason Street from November 19th until December 18th. The road closure will be from 7 am to 3 pm daily from Monday to Friday. Please follow detour signs and instructions. Local traffic and school buses will be allowed to access residences. Emergency vehicles will not be prevented from responding to calls.
There will be planned water main shutdowns, for which notices will be distributed to affected residents and businesses beforehand.
