The northeast area of Town, in the vicinity of River Rd at Interstate 495 and the surrounding area, is experiencing widespread discolored water as of Monday afternoon, October 24th. This discoloration is due to firefighting activities on Somerset Drive, followed shortly by a large private water main leak at the Greater Lawrence Vocational School on River Road, both occurring on Sunday, October 23rd. The Department of Public Works Water Division is flushing hydrants to help clear up the system as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
