Lowell’s Boat Shop (LBS) Annual Holiday Open House is going virtual this year, with an online Silent Auction that will run from December 1-6. While COVID-19 nixed the traditional holiday festivities at the Boat Shop, people will still be able to bid on a wide range of gifts and goodies generously donated by local (and not so local!) supporters.
A version of the annual Art Show will be incorporated into this year’s Auction, and an online store will offer a variety of items that are traditionally found at the Open House that can be ordered and picked up curbside. Items include LBS dory logo apparel and glassware, holiday ornaments, and locally made jams and jellies. Visitors to the LBS website (www.lowellsboatshop.com) can return as often as they like to bid on their favorite items.

Andover author and attorney, Tara K. Wilson, will share highlights from her new book, Trustworthy: Enlightened Estate Planning, and provide a broad overview and tips for putting a good trust-based estate plan in place. Register through Zoom.

Tara K. Wilson is a Trust & Estates author, lecturer, and attorney. Tara has almost two decades of experience practicing at international law firms and founded a family-focused boutique estate planning firm. She has a Masters of Law in Taxation with a Certificate in Estate Planning from Georgetown University Law Center and a Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School. She now teaches Advanced Estate Planning at Boston University Law School. Tara lives in Andover and commutes to Washington, DC, beautiful places to live, but two of the “worst” places to die.
