Hi, I’m Avre
Born and raised in the Sunshine state, I’ve spent some time in Houston,Texas before moving to Mass in 2019. As a former collegiate-athlete, I decided to turn my jersey in for a whistle and started coaching and training young athletes in which my passion to mentor and develop programs began. Prior to my start in Andover, I filled the role as the Director and Program Coordinator for the Georgetown Youth Community Center. There I had the opportunity to meet and mentor bright and respectful youth as well as develop programs including a photography class, sports performance training, holiday events, off site field trips and more. With all the work I have done over the years working with youth, what I am most proud of is the connections and relationships I've built.
When I’m not working or coaching I love to spend time with my wife and son. I’m a lover of music and “foodie” at heart so I enjoy attending concerts and trying new restaurants, however Chipotle holds a special place in my heart but open to recommendations.
As I start my career at AYS, I’m excited to be in a community that has shown me lots of love and support!
