One of the Veterans covered in this book, he also served as a liaison to the other side of the action by sharing in the interviewing assignments conducted at the Veterans’ homes after April 24, 2009. There were several Veterans who could not attend that day for a variety of reasons, and he helped make sure that we did not leave out any of the selected Veterans.
