Water Main Flushing in West Andover Beginning Week of April 6
Beginning the week of April 6 and continuing through July 10, the Town of Andover’s Department of Public Works will be conducting flushing of the water distribution system in the west area of Andover as part of ongoing efforts to maintain the system and improve the quality of drinking water provided to residents and businesses. Residents and businesses may temporarily experience discolored water or reduced water pressure. We thank you for your cooperation and patience as this work is completed.
Throughout the overall flushing period, the Town will provide more precise information about the areas expected to be impacted as work progresses. Please note that these areas are scheduled to be flushed on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
It is currently anticipated that the following areas may experience discolored water or reduced pressure due to water main flushing beginning Monday, April 6:
- Haggetts Pond Road and all adjoining streets
- Lowell Street (I-93 to the Tewksbury line) and all adjoining streets
- Gavin Circle
- Hitchcock Farm Road
- Bailey Road and all adjoining streets
- Pleasant Street area
- Fiske Street area
- River Road (Pheasant Run to the Tewksbury line)
- Quail Run
- Pheasant Run
- Christian Way
- Melmark area
- Riverside Woods (on River Road)
- Lowell Street (Brown Street area)
- Brown Street and all adjoining streets
- Rutgers Road and all adjoining streets
- Bellevue Road and all adjoining streets
