All dogs over the age of six (6) months are required to be licensed annually as required by Massachusetts General Law Chapter 140.
You may license your dog in person, by mail, or online. Dog licensing renewals must be done each year. The licensing period is January 1st through December 31st of each year. Any licensing not completed by March 1st is subject to a late fee or $5 per month not licensed.
