Transportation

Transportation connects people to the places that they need to go, such as jobs, schools, recreation and food. A strong transportation system provides choice as to when, where and how we travel.

The Department of Planning and Community Development works closely with the Departments\ of Public Works, Engineering Division, Sustainability Department and Public Safety on long range transportation plans and projects related to pedestrians, bicycles and some road traffic in the Town of Andover. The work is a part of a larger effort to support sustainable, multimodal transportation improvements throughout the Town.
